From memory I picked up thee 10k resistor thing from the Growmau video quite a while ago & have been doing it as standard ever since. Makes sense what you guys are saying. I put a 10k resistir in as I had heard that cheap potentiometers had a habit of shorting out completley when switched down to the lowest setting. The 10k resistor is meant (from my uderstanding) to keep the lights on at 10% should the potentiometer die.

I've literally just pulled a 1.5gpw yield which is my best to date. That was 25watts per square foot. I have heard of a couple of people getting close to 2gpw & a few others who claim to get over 2gpw. I'm obviousley doing something wrong!

Done both & now just stick with autopots. With dwc you can't leave them to their own devices. Really you need to attend to them daily. With autopots you can at a stretch leave them for a week unattended. DWC will give you higher yields but is a lot more complicated.

I've not personally had experience with Moscas C99 BX1 but I have seen quite a few reviews. Most seem to say it is very good, that said I have seen a few that say it is nothing special. On the whole though most have rated it. Hope that helps.

I have seen peakseeds mentioned a few times for c99 but unfortunately they don't offer fem seeds. For those with limited space reg seeds are not an option.
