First thing, the yellowing on the HID was not a fair comparision. Not all the HID plants are that yellow. The heat issue can't be ignored with the HID. I figure it's some 2-3 degrees cooler on the floor of the tent for the LED's. I'm thinking the heat is causing more uptake, thus more yellowing...

The local grow shop tried to talk me out of the LEDs and into the HO T5. I just had to test these for myself. If this project were to fail, I'd try the T5's though. LED = no bulb replacement for years and years. If these work well, that is going to payoff bigtime.
