Yep there is your answer and I also thought I might have seen some flowers but it is hard to tell from your pics, get a little closer to the tops with the lens. and no 12/12 has nothing to do with it if is an auto. Besides not all autos finish in two months.

It's more like an algae, I've had it and never had a problem.

Any time I see brown spots I figure it's always a good idea to take a quick peek at the opposite side of the leaf for any critters, quick and easy to rule out.

I agree a 24 soak is the best thing. I used germ'd seeds and when I put them into the rock wool I put a little moistened (non-fert) potting soil in the hole add the germ'd seed and cover with a little more potting soil. Never had a failure and get roots out the bottom in just a couple days...

I grew a couple last year, was on a time deadline. One short one tall, both were about the same yield I was happy with the result.

I did with no problems.

That does suck. I was under the gun almost my whole grow but nothing came of it but I do know what you are going through, good luck.

How big were the growing containers?

Yeah but once it's burnt that's it, it's not going to go away where it's already happened. I vote nute burn.

If your drippers are always higher than the reservoir level and the water is pumped, as in your drawing, the drippers will provide the same function as air will enter there and water will flow back to the reservoir when the pump shuts off. If the containers are ever lower than the reservoir...
