i think a little might weight in on what strain it is and how hearty tht strain is. i mean i trim the bottom 1/4 a week before flower because i only use a 400w now if i had a 1000w i wudnt trim shit because the penetration is better.

those T5 prob cost over $100 for the fixture right?..i mean i paid $125 for a 400w set up (reflector,ballast, MH and HPS bulb, and hangers) and its an everyday deal on amazon and for $40 more u can get a 600w set up. idk its not as expensive as ppl make it.

id say those plants look pretty bad if u been going 9 weeks with light threw a window..but any way what he said ^ but then comes heat and other problems your going to have to address bro..good luck
