idk why u guys are talking about 3x400w would not be the same as 2x600w...600w lights have better penetration. adding more 400w will widen the footprint but not deepen the penetration..soo it depends on how tall ur growing ur plants..like dude up top said anything over 3ft is gunna need a 600w...

ya dude i had a few outdoors last year just for laughs and i pretty much set them an forget em..i'd check em like during a drought or get them prepared for storms or whatever but i prob checked them 10-15 times the whole grow besides pulling the males they did there own thing and outta 3 plants...

ya u did warn me lol..when i went to add more soil underneath them the root ball was pussy compared to the one on the right..the one on the right was alrdy rootbound when the rockwool one didnt even reach the bottom yet..HUGE difference. screw rockwool!

its the max..u can use the same hood for 400-1000w if the bulb will fit. only difference in when u go lower than 400w its got a smaller base when ur normal 400w+ bulbs will have a mogul base which is larger in diameter.

pic of each plant...the one on the right has much chunkier nuggets throughout the whole plant..the one on the left looks like its finishing quicker alot more amber hairs.. Master Kush seedlings doin fine on week 3 just watered before the pic.

ya it is too hot for ur plants to thrive but theyll def grow fine. ive seen plants get 90F+ days and all they needed was a little extra water...not ideal though 72F is where u wanna be at but thts hard as fuck without a cooltube.

i know exactly wht walmart liight ur talking about (its a T8 that says "grow light" its actual only 13 watts) i have them on the sides of my tent..they can barley keep a seedling or clone going there not too good. i just didnt wanna see em go to waste so i threw em in there..

ya i did germ in paper towel bfore i put in rockwool..its looking normal now though just a rough begining..the one i germ then put in soil exploded and is 2 nodes ahead of the rockwool one. just gunna use it for clones i got like 150 pieces lol gunna get some more pics up this weekend there...
