Its a really bad idea to grow secret pot in your parents home. If it were your house and your kid was growing without permission I'm sure you would feel the same way. I'm a strong advocate of growing herb (obviously), however, take the risk yourself. Don't bring your parents into it unwillingly...

its a toss up, really. Personally, I think I would stick with growing all 5. Maybe you could start a little later, maybe 3 months of veg before going outside. Another option would be hacking a few if they start to slump and go with the 2 mothers. Either way, if I were you, I'd start with the 5...

I'd recommend something a little more powerful, but if you're asking if they'll grow, the answer is yes. How great it will be, is another question.
