Here we go again... Blue Dream!

Day 38 Tied the girls back down a bit, they're resilient! Running out of space. Considering moving to my flowering room, but 4x4 isn't a whole lot more space for them than the 3x3. Oh well, better to be too large than too small.

They just got placed in the super soil so we will see. I might consider adding some neem cake, as I am worried about fungus gnats given that the soil has been outside.

Here we go again... Blue Dream!

On a side note - transplanted the two girls in one gallon pots (sorry, I lied, they weren't three gallons!) into five gallon pots with super soil. They're going outside for the remainder of the summer into a hopefully warm fall. After I take clones from all seven plants I will grow the best out...

Yeah I am waiting for some viable clones, it didn't go as planned exactly... they're growing a little larger than I had planned! Day 37 This.... To this... In just 5 days...

Played around in my super soil today... transplanted my two one gallon pots upstairs into five gallon pots of super soil. Gee, the stuff stinks. Is it possible for it to go anaerobic? I fear I may have kept it too wet. However, I guess my amendments were mostly animal products (bone meal, blood...

Aye I've heard that, but nothing wrong with drilling that sort of thing into people's heads. I run the flower room during night, but being that it is in a basement it doesn't make a whole lot of a difference. I tried to cycle it so that it takes advantage of my veg room's light cycle 17-7...

Naw no CO2. Due to restrictions on space and amperage I can't get an AC hooked up to my room. Sucks but, other than dumping one of my lights, 85 will have to do for flower. There are two fans though, one blowing air over the tops of the lights, and one blowing air across the foliage. It should...

Flower room gets a tad hot maxing out at 85, veg room is a perfect 71-73. Plenty of exhaust and intake. I'll definitely look into using kelp, neem, and alfalfa. I wish I had gone with a more varied soil mix.

Super soil PH is up to 6.8  Maybe you were right! Lol :wall: Top dressed with some blood meal for some N boost and I'll go look at the grow store for some seabird guano. I'm going to try using Earth Juice organic PH up with the tea just to see if there will be any difference, stuff was...

My local shop actually had some new EJ products. I found Amazon has great prices on EJ. I think they're experimenting with synthetics trying to expand their brand. Could you shoot me a link to some? All I'm finding is like 8-4-4 7-7-2. I'm also quite drunk right now :) and probably not the...

I was thinking the same thing. I've got some bat guano which I believe is essentially the same. As I understand it, the conflict between the two is the sourcing, correct? The values are similar or the same? *Edit* Upon double checking, isn't guano a source of phosphorous? 0-7-0 is what mine is...

Tell me what you think man, I really appreciate your continued replies and effort to help. I have a couple other girls upstairs in my micro cab I might try fooling around with, try to get my PPM to ~800 and PH to 6.0 and see if there is any noticeable benefit. I hear what you guys are saying...

I'm using Earth Juice's organic line (Grow, Micro, Meta-K, HI BRIX Molasses, Catalyst) I do believe this type of tea is a nutritional one. My soil is not a fully amended soil, it merely has some humic acid, azomite, dolomite lime, epsom salt in it. It's about a 50-50 pro mix to roots organic...

So I PH'd my tea after about 36 hours and found its PH at 3.6...? My soil is 7.0 so how in the world can that work! Also, the PPM of the tea was a measly 350! Are my girls starving?

Day 33 Filling in quite nicely already. Another two days and their footprint should be double what it was before their haircut. I love that LST, and they loved their trim! They were fed a tea today and given some BTI. I have only seen a couple gnats, so their population can't be very large. The...

Do you ever apply teas to your compost to keep it damp and kickstart the microbial process? I used some Earth Juice Rooter's Mycorrhizae in my mix to kickstart the fungal breakdown, but I'm not sure if there's any benefit to adding teas to compost (that doesn't yet have plants in it!) to add...

Yeah, I have always been kind of wary about the idea of layering your soil. It doesn't make sense to me. From the standpoint of creating a buffer zone from "cold" to "hot" mediums, it makes sense I suppose, but what makes more sense is to just provide one even medium that won't burn your plants...

I just wish I knew the proper ratios! I'm starting out with subs supersoil recipe which I have since read may be over complicated and far from perfect... I do like a hotter medium, but I definitely feel I could have mixed a more rounded final product. The grow shop guy was telling me about the...
