I never mentioned anything about "how stuff cooks" I said "to protect the buds during microwaving." were not "cooking" anything here, were just zapping the bud to get a lil bit of water out of the leaves, if the buds (calaxyes) are too crispy you'll lose some smell and taste..

that'd work too I suppose... ..but then it wouldnt really be a quick dry.. ..plus Im also trying to preserve bag-appeal.. if that makes any sense;-)

nope. this is purely for a quick smoke, no long-term storage. the bud comes out of the microwave kinda crispy already, once the air hits it, it dries up even more, the baggie is to redistribute moisture which doesnt take long at all. it should be ready for consumption within an hour
