    Smart pot users

for me, the less stress on the roots, the better. using rapid rooters is easy and an effective way to germinate. the rapid rooter + heating mat gives you a great start and then transition to your smart pot... if they can prevent getting rootbound or spun up they will branch nicely and...

DWC Root Slime Cure aka How to Breed Beneficial Microbes

If I need to adjust, I normally add about a cap full of the GH to about a quart of water. Then pour it in in stages and measure the pH as I pour. Although on a fresh rez, I usually mix up the nutes then pH the rez, THEN add the tea.

DWC Root Slime Cure aka How to Breed Beneficial Microbes

No need to pH adjust the tea... if anything, pH adjust your rez after the addition of the tea. Make sure you are diluting your pH adjuster with water and not pouring it straight in. cheers mr.bond

    tiny bugs

Here is a recent quote from the wonderful Heisenberg on fungus gnats: "A great preventative and suppressant for fungus gnats is the bacterium Bacillus thuringiensis. If you use mycogrow or great white you have this bacterium. If you do not use these products, or want to introduce more BT to...

    Question

It is easier to pinch/bend leaves when the plant is kind of dry. Since they have less water content they are more flexible. If you are trying to train/supercrop, wait til the plant wants water, then train, then water. Silica can also help, but it is an immobile element so you have to add it...

DWC Root Slime Cure aka How to Breed Beneficial Microbes

you're welcome. Nah I keep going with all three until I am satisfied with the amount of trichs... at least till week 6, sometimes a bit longer... they recommend you stop foilar feeding due to mold potential. As long as you have good air flow then it shouldn't be much of a concern. Even if I...

    Little seeds in my weed?

Hey curto, Looks like a seed to me. I have experienced that plant stress alone can cause seed development. Just pull out the seeds when you harvest, shouldn't be too big of a deal. Cheers and good luck! mr.bond

mile.high, Try out the nutrient calculator on the Dutch Master website - http://www.dutchmaster.com.au . You can input and fine-tune the formula for your grow setup -- how many gallons, how many veg weeks, etc. I have been using the DM Gold line and I use the complete line. It is lovely...

1st Organic tea do i need anything else

hey greengrower, yeah just do the tea then add your food later. the bennies in your tea are now in your soil and will break down the organics to provide food. you'll want to feed on a normal schedule of sorts, and keep your soil moist to keep the bennies alive. the bennies will be fine if...

1st Organic tea do i need anything else

Yes, mycorrhizae only becomes active when it comes into contact with roots, however, almost all myco products have other forms of beneficial bacterias/fungis in them, including the MycoGrow Soluble I listed. Brewing them in the tea is desired. The idea behind brewing the tea is to have...

1st Organic tea do i need anything else

If you're making a compost tea to add biological diversity to your plants, your breakdown seems a bit wacky. First, you don't need Ancient Forest AND Earthworm Castings. Ancient Forest IS Earthworm Castings. Plus the AF is alot more diverse than regular EWC. Second, ditch the coffee grounds...
