You can flower really small plants if you start from sexually mature clones, but don't expect big fat buds. Especially if you top. The space here is 20x12x20 40 watts of oooooold generation LEDs got me about close to 40 grams of what would be considered popcorn buds and larf on bigger plants...

I think his ppm meter is probably off. I have a cheap one that measures at 1/2 what an expensive one measures.

It works. The most I dried with silica gel was about 2 pounds. You will need a lot of it though or else you'll have to keep drying it out. Just about any kind of silica gel will get you to under 60% humidity. It's not any faster than a dehumidifier but its cooler and once you have the box set up...

Can you dissolve 1 gram of table salt in 1 liter of water and measure that with your ppm meter? You should be getting 1000ppm I'm no hydro expert but 2750ppm is super high...

When's the last time you calibrated that ppm meter?

1.4 feet square per plant with a 1.4 feet wide walkway down the middle. Should be enough for a 2~3 foot tall plant but the two rows near the wall are going to be hard to get to.
