    Backyard shed questions.

I grow in an outdoor shed ~10'x12', year round. I love it. I check my grow room maybe every other week. Everything is automated (I use a raised bed with blumats). I've been using it the past 2 years and have had very minimal issues. I was updating a grow journal when I first made the room. I...

January 6th hearings on Trump's failed insurrection.

"Biden’s pace of confirmations is faster than Donald Trump’s, slower than Barack Obama’s and George W. Bush’s — though unlike any of those three, Biden has decades of Washington contacts to draw on."...

January 6th hearings on Trump's failed insurrection.

Looks like Biden is on the same track (or only slightly below) for nominations as Trump was. They are of course apples and oranges, we can't compare them as a "both sides" thing (in this regard).

    Another Republican President, Another Recession.

You were slightly late to my edit, had to stop driving :/ but ya, I came to the same conclusion that 85% (as stated by the CDC) is vaccinated. Good work! Luckily someone was there earlier to show me I could've been (and was) inaccurate and led me to search into it more. Disparities in vaccine...

https://covid19vaccine.health.ny.gov/vaccine-demographic-data From the state. No intentional misleading, but you are right. As @hanimmal and I were talking about, they weren't accurate. The state has those numbers listed as 14% vaccinated, but it's 14% of the total population that is black and...

    Another Republican President, Another Recession.

Lol all comes back to how someone wants to frame numbers and they did it differently. My graphs would look considerably different if I used Bloomberg numbers, so now idk if those graphs I created are remotely accurate. The difference between 45% and 15% is rather large.

    Another Republican President, Another Recession.

For some reason Bloomberg has the share of Black NY vaccinated at 45%, while https://covid19vaccine.health.ny.gov/vaccine-demographic-data has it at ~15% vaccinated. https://www.kff.org/coronavirus-covid-19/issue-brief/latest-data-on-covid-19-vaccinations-race-ethnicity/ - this one also has it...

    Another Republican President, Another Recession.

We can assume since mandates are now a national thing, they won't be going away anytime soon. I wonder how much farther behind those citizens will be in the coming decade after being locked out for however long it takes their population to get vaccinated. That was all just numbers for NY and a...

    Another Republican President, Another Recession.

True stuff. Scale requires some critical thinking. I wonder what scale does to inequality of vaccine mandates. Before building these charts, it wasn't as easy to see how something like vaccine mandates could hurt a population but I have my doubts that the 80% of black Americans in NY are...

Mix perceived failure to deliver by the current administration and the redistricting... 2022 is looking uphill. If they don't get it done in spite of Republicans... no bueno.

    Will You Take The Vaccine?

It doesn't matter what happens with the mandates. The virus will evolve outside the USA and come visit every year. Hopefully it doesn't turn into a forever stipend to big Pharma to save us.

    Afganistan Collapse

They probably just sell what they can if they can't use it. I doubt they decide to let it all rot. They have been grabbing equipment where they can from the Afghan Army for years. Some of those afghan army soldiers were surely trained to fix or maintain gear we gave them and plenty of them are...
