    Understanding PPM

I'd say it depends on your situation. I'll never try a different nute line again without testing the ec of my doses first. Might be the only time I do it, but AFIC it's necessary for any level of inexperience. I'm sure that people who are familiar with all the nutes and doses that they've been...

    CFL Experience?

pic of your setup? That should be fine for 2 plants if they're placed strategically and the plants are trained right. With cfls, low stress training is necessary because they don't penetrate very far. If you don't train or top your plants, they'll get 3' tall requiring a christmas tree string of...

    Perfect method for yanking off

dead fanleaves. Sometimes the stem still has some strength to it even though the leaf is half-dead, and the scissors are like... 10 feet away so alternate methods may be necessary. What I do when I'm feeling fat, high, and lazy ... but my plants needs emergency yanking right now goddammit...

new here, need a little cloning advice

That's an interesting method. I once used a McDonalds frappe cup. Keeping the water aerated helps too. I've probably killed hundreds of clones before I began having any measure of success. One of the most influential factors I've tried is gentle heat under the cuttings, easily doubled my...

    Misting During Flowering

I used a couple basins of bubbling water to raise my humidity. It worked a little too well when lights/vent fan were off, went from 20% to 60%. Daytime average was 40% with the vent fan alternating on/off every 15 minutes. I had a hard time with humidity that low, but I made sure my plants were...

Is it ever too late to switch lights?

They're fine. I grow under 400w cfl and stems are thick as fuck, nodes are tight as ... well, tight. @ 5 weeks my plants are maybe 6"-8" tall with a dozen nodes. Once they go into 12/12 those nodes will stretch. Here's some clones I took from under that light, I counted 5 alternating nodes on...

Air conditioning in sealed room help please

Nah, I only use it during 12/12, lights go off, a/c goes off. Lights go on... sometimes the a/c goes on, sometimes it doesn't. Big problem, as you can imagine :)

Before I invest in my first grow, tell me what you think of my stealth plan.

Sorry if I'm coming off as a dick, but I've seen blood brothers split up over business, especially when neither one of them has any experience. I wish you the best :)

    Ventilation Problems In Basement

hmmm... I'd suggest cutting passive intakes on the door with carbon filter and fan blowing out the existing vent. Or say fuck it, seal up the vent and get a ductless a/c and a co2 system. Problem is you have to deal with the heat, and you can't do that with a vent fan if you only have one vent.
