I hear a lot of experienced growers commenting that MG isn't very good soil to use for growing; I've avoided it for that reason myself. I'll be interested to see how yours do as I've also heard that it is in fact possible to grow using it even if it's not the best. Good luck on the grow!

Worse case scenario, you'll source seeds elsewhere next time if what you've ordered don't work out. I usually ask others for recommendations before I consider purchasing beans. Live and learn (what else can you do?)

general use compost? You need soil for your plant to thrive and preferrably something other than Miracle Grow potting soil; Fox Farm Ocean Forest is what I've used in the past. Others I talk to prefer Promix-brand soil. You'll probably want to add more light. If that silver stuff is tin...

what do you mean, two seeds per plant - did you mean to say two seeds per pot? I like CFLs generally though I do use HPS also : best wishes on your grow ...

not familiar with fungus gnats though I'm kinda curious what they look like now ... report back if the product worked for you; others might like to know about it if it works for you - good luck
