It is my understanding that THC is supposed to be a sunscreen of sorts so it just doesnt seem to hold true that any darkness would be beneficial but as said earlier try it, see if it works.

Some run them for the whole grow but I find the buds are a bit whispy. I have used them for flower as well but only once and it was really hot so they were a lot cooler than hids.

I would still run 4 4 footers, thats only 212 watts. The fixtures hold 1,2,4,6,or 8 lights that I have seen.

Sun Blaster 53w HO's 4 tubes for every 6 plants. I also leave them for a week and throw in a 2700 with the 3 6500's at the start of 12/12. The seedlings do way better IMO than my 600 mh for reasons unknown lol.

You probably dont need co2 supplements unless in a sealed room. Shed does not usually mean sealed. I would search for the real issues. Nutes, ph, light!

I get better results in veg using T5's and half the power.

Ah ok yes kinda makes sense I guess. I always watered my outdoor girls that were in 10 gallon bags till water poured out the bottom but not organic in the true sense I guess.

Whats the actual temp in there first thing in the morning? Like I said if its not freezing you'll be ok. I've had strains that were ok at 33f, if they dont freeze they'll be ok for a bit.

Well and lake water will change, mine does. My plants dont like my lake water, i use the well water 30' feet away and they do much better. Perhaps its the acid rain from up north in Canada thats screwing the water up :(

Are you able to keep them above freezing? If so leave them, nice btw, but not done yet. Keep an eye out for bud rot as well but you should be good in there. Plants can survive cold but not freezing. Good luck!!
