There is no need for the blue spectrum during flowering you don't want it to put any energy into vegging just flowering so red spec only in my opinion. Also why so long to veg? Expect the size to TRIPLE when you start 12/12 cycle! And just because the bulb is red does not mean it will give off...

I veg for two weeks and they have been on 12/12 for about 4 days now.

I was needing some input... How do these look? My set up is 4x4x7 grow tent with 3gal soiless mix using fox farm trio with distilled water every watering ph 6.1 ppm between 1100-1330, (this only applies for the 4 little ones). Lighting is homemade however, I heard a lot about CFLs being shit...

All of you are wrong! Color temp is more important. What is the point of having alot of the wrong lumens. 2700k is what is needed for bud development. Buy more soft white bulbs and also buy some y splitters for 2 bulbs per socket. Just saying. That's what I would do.

Why not just use 100% coco mix there is no need for soil. I use coco fiber, just have to treat it like hydro when it comes to feeding it. You wil have to feed with every watering. Did you press the mix in the pot to tight? You should let your mix settle with watering.

. Mg sucks first of all. Happy frog by fox farm is best. I use a soiless mix of coco fiber. Using cfls requires alot of them. Also make sure u use daylight or 6500k for veg and soft white 2700k for flower it will be marked on the package look for it they are a must. U can switch to a 12/12...

If u have sufficient lighting they will triple in size!!

Testing the water is useless and a waste of time, test the soil and your water runoff.

You need to veg using a cfl with a 6500k rating, (marked as daylight on the package). Soft whites are 2500k-2700k those should be used for flowering!!
