    Emerald Harvest

EH's base nutes are GH. Not sure where they source their Emerald Goddess from, but I'd bet my left nut it's just somebody else's repackaged product. Whatever bloom booster you want to use should be fine. Just be careful with bloom boosters; your bloom formula already increases P & K, you...

    Spider mites

For an outbreak, not really - as a preventive measure, neem is pretty effective against spider mite.

This is exactly why you do not accept clones from other people

Those look like thrips to me. As a general rule of thumb you should treat new plants to the garden for insects and fungus/mildew. That said, I've forgotten to treat new clones recently and ended up battling PM for a few months.

Electrician please comment solar off grid

Very illegal. You're pumping power onto the grid. If there should be a power outage in your area and they're working on the line you're pumping out power and could kill somebody working on the line. BTW, if this is about saving a buck, unless you pay outrageous electrical rates, solar will...

Negotiating Pricing with KingBrite and Meiju?

I tried negotiating with a few suppliers, and they just don't budge. I think I got the guy to come down ~$5 from the list price.

    Alcohol Spray Ruined Plant

DE has always taken out mites for me. Maybe it's not as effective outdoors, but indoors, I've found DE takes mites out in a single application. Wash it off a week later.

    Plant height

Put the shorter plant on a some sort of riser, like an upside down bucket.

18/6 in final week of flower

Never tried it myself. Usually, people do the opposite and reduce light in the final days/weeks. There is a reason we keep our veg and bloom rooms separate. You could always give it a shot and see what happens. Let us know how it works out.

has any one successfully gotten rid of a bad spider mite infestation?

I've had friends drown them without soap. Actually just used the nute solution in the reservoir, so it also served as a foliar feeding. :D

    Help!!!

1000 based on the 500ppm/ec scale? That's pretty hot, but yes just increase nutrients accordingly.

    Alcohol Spray Ruined Plant

I would trim off damaged leaves and blades. You shouldn't try to scare other growers from using Iso, Iso is great for killing mites. It's a great one application solution since it kills both mites and eggs. I've never seen damage from iso, even with 70% iso applied at full strength. Not...

has any one successfully gotten rid of a bad spider mite infestation?

You should have went stronger with the Iso - ~20% iso, so ~4:1 with 91% iso. I'd probably go with predatory mites in flower and any number of solutions in veg: Diatomeous earth, iso, neem, etc, etc, etc.

Sulphur In Hydroponic DWC - Help!

Misuse. Physan 20 works great for root rot and as general disinfectant between cycles.

    Root rot and weird stuff

I agree with eliminating the sugars (flora nectar and probably diamond nectar). The sugars are feeding the bacteria that's causing your slime. I'd probably drop Hydroguard since it clearly isn't working. Then I'd try to go sterile by dropping rez temps and using physan 20 or h2o2 or chlorine...

    Root rot and weird stuff

That slime is a PITA. You need to get the rez sterilized. Chlorine or h2o2 in the rez. Drop rez temps to 65-68 degrees F.

    Floraflex line

CalMag supplements exist because you could have high levels of Cal mag in your stock water (ie hard water/well water) or at the other end of the spectrum if you're using RO water or have soft water, then you need to add Calmag.

    Help i got broad mites

Piston looks promising. Breaks down relatively quickly. Still, I've found Isopropyl is cheap and effective and it kills insects and eggs in one shot. With mites, I'm always weary of how they got in the first place. Do have a plant in the house or outside that is infected?

    Help i got broad mites

Diatomeous earth, ~20-25% isopropyl alcohol, neem, azamax, pyrethrum, ~3% rosemary oil, SNS-217, sm-90. Good luck with the mites.
