those light fixtures will melt. those are for those clear low watt bulbs. you'd be better off building your own fixture with proper ballasts imo. good luck!!!

i would agree with the 600 watt. i prefer 1000's but it's all up to what your space can handle heat wise. the diff in heat between the 400 and 600 is minimal. bigger=better imo.

Absolutely! i've been cloning the same NLBB for 5 years with no loss of quantity or quality. Some say they degrader after too many times, but I've yet to see it.

i use the rubbermaid roughnecks for rez's they're cheap and come in different sizes. i use bigger cause i have 18 plants on each 4x8. just scale down to your size!

sounds like it would work, i just can't believe they'd be root bound in 5 gal pots. i use 3 gal bags and haven't ever had root bound problems and i even use root excelerator and they roots balls are huge when they're done.
