I grew my last crop in 18l pots and there's not much difference in the plants size or bud weight. I believe that hydroponic systems don't need large pots. But I could be wrong....

The pots are 6.5l (clay pebbles) the plants are about 60 - 70cm high. They've both had cuttings taken off them twice. Their sisters (receiving constantly recycled feed water on a Wilma system) are in the same size pots of hydroton and seem fine.

My tap water has EC0.5 is this too high...?

I grow in clay pebbles (hydroton) and have everything for this medium, so growing in soil isn't an option. This question of whether baby seedlings (in rockwool) should go in a propagator seems to divide opinion....! 4 opinions. 2 say IN THE PROP 2 say NOT IN THE PROP. And my GROWER'S BIBLE says neither! It's amazing how many things cannot be found in my GROW BIBLE. 538 pages but often there isn't...
