    Raw Opium from Garden poppies?

I extract the opium by putting several bulbs in a wok of water with a little citric acid (lemon juice/vinegar...) heat the wok, when the bulbs change colour they have parted with the needed ingredient. Add more bulbs and repeat. (Avoid splitting the bulbs/heads. They are full of millions of tiny...

    Pictures of my drying buds.

I saved 7g from the last crop for myself and I still have 5g left. I'm not a fan of the befuddled sensation that strong cannabinoids cause and I smoke maybe one joint every few weeks. I love growing it I love having a reputation for growing top smoke. I have Critical Hog, Green Crack and...

    Pictures of my drying buds.

Yesterday I chopped up my plants and hung them to dry. It's my 2nd crop and, despite thinking they were not as big, there appears to be about twice as much as last time (And I brought them to harvest with 3 weeks less overall growing time). There's 8 strings 'clotheslined' across a 4ft space...

    Best Actor on Earth....?

Did you ever see a film called THE RED VIOLIN starring Samuel L ??? I didn't realize how good an actor he was, until I saw him act completely out of character in this. He's an expert on antique violins. Very sophisticated and educated and cosmopolitan - absolutely not a ghetto gangster type...

    Large Hadron Collider

"We're all stuck with the hadrons we're born with....". I seem to recall some drastic changes (in the hadron area) between the ages of 11 and 13. If you retained the hadrons of a new born then you have problems.

If you don't like it then move.

Liberals talk about leaving Conservatives threaten to remove others. This speaks volumes about which group truly believes in personal freedom. I've formed my opinions about Tea Party followers from the things they say, the policies they support, the right wing hypocrites they follow and the...

    Joys of Predictive Text....

That's the 2nd time you've tried to annoy me. Luckily I understand how inferiority can manifest as aggression so I don't find you in the least bit relevant 'Commander'. If you wish I wasn't here or you cannot understand my posts the solution is simple. DON'T TRY TO JOIN IN. Just stick with...

If you don't like it then move.

Ironically, the people who are most likely to make the 'if you don't like it you should emigrate' nonsense are the no brainer, tea party right wingers who claim to support the rights of the individual over the collective plans of an ordered society. They obviously only support the right of the...

    Large Hadron Collider

I've just finished the construction of a large hadron collider in my spare bedroom. I found most of the parts in local scrap yards but I had to buy some bits on E-bay. It doesn't seem to working.....? I'm not sure whether I'm using hadrons that are not large enough or if they're not colliding...

How Long Before Worlds First Lottery BILLIONAIRE???

Years ago a Spanish charity for blind people (ONCE) had the lottery sales concession. They had El Gordo (The Fat One) decades before the English even had a lottery. It ruins peoples lives because it isolates them. No one will risk offending the friend who pays for holidays and night out for...

    Best Actor on Earth....?

This isn't about the best films or most successful star. I like some actors but think many of their films are pants. Likewise I like some films but don't particularly rate the star of the film. This is BEST ACTOR. To me the best actor is head and shoulders above his nearest competitor. There...

How Long Before Worlds First Lottery BILLIONAIRE???

A short time ago a British man won over £100 million on the Euro Lottery. Overnight he went from a normal man earning £400 a week to being on the list of the UK's richest in the position just above David and Victoria Beckham. Despite the fact that having £100 million really wouldn't change...

Young Plant Shrivelling Up ??? (with pics).

I've also moved it forward, so it's on the middle front edge rather than direct centre under the reflector. Out of the 13 cuttings that I rushed under the 600w MH 10 seem very strong and vigorous. 2 had a hard start but now seem to be pulling through, slowly. and the 'problem plant' did fine...

Indoor Strain - Best All Rounder ???

I never even considered a Sativa. I was thinking of White Widow. I don't need something new and fasionable. Some old school tried and tested variety would be perfect. At the moment I have my usual strain which I was told is SKUNK#1 (but I'm not convinced I was honestly informed) I perpetuate...

Young Plant Shrivelling Up ??? (with pics).

I'm thinking that algae from my rainwater may be behind many of my problems. I've bought a 100l water butt, to replace the old, lidless barrel I've been using and I intend to change all clear/transparent tubing for coloured.
