I was just curious as to why my week old seedling is lifting its leaves into a y shape. I probably should of posted this under the noob thread but w/e. Here are a few pics.. Could anyone tell me why this plant's leaves are moving so far upwards? Thanks bongsmilie

Thanks. Right now I just got them under 3 6500k CFl and 1 2700k. I got good ventilation so they put off like no heat. I keep them 1 to 2 inches from top

It's just establishing roots slower i guess.. Here is an updated pic of one of my babies. Im down to 3 now i removed the smallest one..i needed more room.

If you want to resemble something close to nature then put your seeds in the fridge for 24 hours first(seeds think its winter and get ready for spring), then immediently place them between 2 moist paper towels in a dark warm place(seeds now think it's spring and will germinate quickly).

I plan on getting rid of the weakest link here in about a week to make more room and to concentrate the light more (hopefully it will be a male anyways :-o). Here is a quick overview of my set-up: FF ocean forest soil 3 6500k 100w cfl, 1 2700k cfl (ill use 3 2700k and 1 6500k for flowering) 1...

I just wanna add that u can always use a spray nozzle and mist the top soil/leaves with out messing up your watering schedule
