yes, you can use an air conditioner to control the temps and humidity in a sealed room, but your co2 calculations will need to be a little different. you would be supplying 100% of the co2 at all times, not just supplementing now and then when the lights are on.

but if it's a clone from a flowering plant, can you really veg it? it would take a good 2 or 3 weeks just to revert back into the veg state. wouldn't that stress the plant more then necessary?

3 table spoons of water a day? might not be enough to wet the soil deep enough down. I'm not so good with soil growing, but I usually hear people water every 2 or 3 days with enough water so that it starts to come out the bottom of the pot.

it shouldn't have to be covered. how often do you water them, and how much water? what kind of soil are you using? it might only be dry on the surface, that is ok. you don't want to over-water them.

it's amazing isn't it. the lights go out and I go to bed, then I get up in the morning after the lights have been on for maybe 3 hours and I have to move the lights up again. I'm always looking at them, but I guess not often enough, because I walk out of the room, then the next time I come back...

usually, carbon filters exhaust to the outside to get rid of heat and humidity. exhaust and intake fans have to be shut off while co2 is being injected, or it will just be exhausted out of the room. you have to be able to keep the heat and humidity down in the room while the fans are off.

if you're creative and put a little thought and work into it, I say you can make it work. if you walk into your garage and you can smell it or hear it, then you have a problem. any other problems have fixes and ways around them.
