    Side Topping

You can top anywhere you want, but usually it's counterproductive to bush up the sides and bottom because it can allow mold and pests a safe haven and it doesn't receive the same level of light or hormones. But If the secondary branches rival the original tops in height, it's a good idea to...

    How Many Nodes Before Topping?

Time to resurrect some Opinions on UB's method for 4 tops vs just topping off node 5 and then l.s.t. for even canopy (more than 4)? Considering minimal veg time is preferable

Don’t know what to do about my burnt tips! Please help :(

The fan seems a bit direct, I agree, but do you really think that the appearance of nutrient burnt tips on the fan leaves was caused by "wind burn?" bongsmilie

    Should I keep it growing?

Keep it and wash out the soil so it's just bare roots, transplant into some suitable soil, and hope for a little luck? Looks pretty bad, sorry m8

    Week 6 flower

Thanks :bigjoint: That's the beauty of diverse genetics! Looks a lot like my 2017 outdoor skunk did but she fattened up fast after! Yours looks like it will be fire. Some genetics take forever. I had a purp cut years ago that grew big colas but they were 'airy' and slow growing, but produced...

    Week 6 flower

That's a tough one to answer generally but this pic is from my current grow, end of week 6 from flip. That's what a good pheno looks like. (From seed) Not all of them matured that fast but most are a similar size. :leaf:

    Week 6 flower

This is the end of week 6 for my Thai Cookies F1 first run. A few good looking phenos appearing! I think there is a problem with delay if your plants look more like week 3-4. Great structure, resin though and they look healthy. Happy growing!

    When to stop giving nutrients.

Good info about waiting! I'd like to add that in the images shown, the buds need at least 4 more weeks so there is no reason to bother checking trichromes until you see the calyxes swell. Great looking plants :leaf:

2 plants, one reservoir, one has problems

Each plant operates a bit differently so deficiency may be present in one and not the other. Maybe you should consider a broad spectrum trace supplement and calcium & magnesium supplement. Shouldn't bother the other plant to add those if needed. Good luck:leaf:

    Weird seedling start?

Imo this is the kind of situation where you just let it grow out and see. I'm growing some seedlings right now that are still very young and a couple looked this way at first but both are growing in normally now. Only a few inches tall but roots are growing fast! I'm transplanting from cups to...

There is nothing like feeling that "Crunch" when SuperCropping.

Agreed. Those two bends are stressful but not unbearable. Should be just fine but I wouldn't keep doing it because it stunts development. I have done some pretty harsh supercropping :fire: Like 30 branches at once bongsmilie Good luck!

    Fungi/Bacteria Nitrogen sink?

Interesting! How would you observe that phenomenon, other than to judge by the introduction of Glomus Intraradice to a test plant in a side by side study? And tracking visual results? Really cool topic. It would take further research for me to understand if it was a possibility. I have a...

How much perlite to throw in black gold?

Yes. You can kind of tell when you have the right mix as you go, but generally 50% total perlite is not unheard of for fast cannabis root development and drainage. Good luck :leaf:
