If everything is properly cured (plan on curing for at least 3 weeks) does it matter how good of a trimming job I did? I didn't get about half of the larger leaves right from the stem. General rule of thumb is that you could safely grow a foot of plant per gallon of soil. So you could grow 3 feet of plant in a 3 gallon pot. Or something like that. Bigger is always better though. No risk of plants being rootbound and I believe they grow quicker and bigger.

Missed your post Douglas. I really don't want to use fluorescents. I know that would probably be my best option given the small space and ventilation issues, but I'd like to have the best grows possible with an HPS or MH lamp if my space allows it.

Thanks for the quick responses. I wasn't aware they made 250w hps lamps. Do you think the 250w would run significantly cooler? How do you think it would run in my 3x3 closet with a fan or two? I can only leave the closet open a few hours a day at best.
