I second Indi's statement. I'm running a 600 HPS and 400 MH in a Growzilla hood on a light rail. The hood is air cooled so that it never gets hot. I keep it about 4 - 6 inches above the canopy with no problems.

Did you basically double your light coverage area when you added the mover? If you have the same amount of light covering twice as much space I could see that making a difference in bud density.

When I get a clone from another grower I quarantine it for at least a few days. Before getting it near my veg room I inspect the leaves with a loupe. If I saw bugs at that point I would probably toss it. The quarantine process is not super controlled. It amounts to a good drenching every day...
