As far as the mylar thing goes: I've looked around at a few places for some and haven't found any...so I think I'm gonna have to settle for some online. The FAQ mentions Polywrap, a 'generic' mylar, but I haven't been able to find that either. I called Walmart, they claimed they had it but...

I'm assuming you bought yours put together? I'm really thinking about doing this......it seems like a really cheap way to get an HPS better than buying 10 CFLs LOL

So has anyone bought one of these kits to make an HPS? They're cheaper than buying one that's assembled....and I figure I could save some money when it comes to flowering to put one together? I found a kit for $52 and a bulb for $16....I'd have to buy a power cord to plug it in....but this...

I just got back from the store, getting some medium stuff for my transplant I've still only got one sprout :( I think I might've put them too deep into the cup when I planted them....we'll see I've got more germinating in case some don't sprout :) Blood meal, read in the FAQ plants like this...

Yeah I'm only using the clear cups until they start to get bigger, then I've got dark green pots to put them in I'm thinking about buying some paint or mylar, haven't decided yet if I'm going to put the money into it I might just go with the flow
