I have never worried about PPM's living in the city. When I lived near a river and relied on well water, it was a HUGE issue. If your water source is "drinkable", it's usually ok. Las Vegas has terrible water without filters as well as Arizona, and half of Cali.

Water is way too warm for a cloner. You want 55 F or you will get wild fluctuation in pH. At least that has been my experience.

So I noticed that mylar rolls range about $20+ but you can get 84"x52" mylar blanket 4 packs for $6. Is there any reason I shouldn't just use the blankets if it covers my grow room? :leaf:

I have had the same problem. The bud reeks on the plant and by the time it's trimmed dried and bagged up it's lost all its aroma. I like the mr green thumb technique and will let you know on some Purple Kush I'm about to harvest. Cheers :joint:

Mylar is the way to go, unless you can find sheet styrofoam, its the only thing more reflective than mylar.

The problem with Miracle Grow soil is it is full of time released nutrients and this causes the pH of the soil to sit in the high range. Those lower leaves generally fall off anyway but your upper leaves look a little shriveled. I would check you soil pH and adjust it. You can general find Lime...
