I have them half inch to an inch away and it never hurts them, right now I'm in veg and only running 2 hoods I have 4 total. and in my bud chamber I plan on running 5 more hoods that are 3 bulb and push around 47,000 lumens at around 750w. or I may possibly do one full flower run in my veg cab...

so just an update I'm rulling just two of my lights for my 2 clones and 12 sprouts the cab is running about 78-83F humidity is 45-50%i propped open my baffle with a small piece of take to see if I could get it down to around 75F all seeds have sprouted ill give them a week or so and trans plant...

I like the repti hood for the lights lol. rigged box should work. I'm sure u would need more room for flower. seedlings look nice and short :cool:

I also use reptisafe for my beardies, pythons uromasyx and have used in on plenty of house plants and no issue. I would use it on my plants as well or just buy water if the waters that bad. since I moved into my grandmothers trailer I just have to use ph decreaser bc the chlorine and bromines...

heres an update on the cab its 98% done put the fan guard in did the wire management tacked down the plastic in the bottom and drilled a 1.5" hole and screwed a passive baffle in for my intake it has a one way baffle inside so air can only enter later I can screw an intake fan outside of the cab...

the 2 cfls are just for the 2 clones. I have an old micro box that will hold an additional 3 cfls for the seedlings. if need be but I just finished my cab an hour ago actually so lightings not much of an issue. I just need a new intake bc mine burned out and then I gotta invest in some yoyos bc...
