Lowering the heat in my 5'x5' tent

Also I'd open all port holes if you can, the more places you have for hot air to exhaust the better

Lowering the heat in my 5'x5' tent

I wouldn't do more than 5 plants max with that light in your space. Personally I'd only do 3, maybe 4, plants because you're on the low side of what you want to be at for watts per sqft. If you do too many plants tho your buds will be fluffy & not what you're looking for

Or run you light at night or during the cooler hours of the day

Lowering the heat in my 5'x5' tent

Do you have all the intake flaps/ports open? If you have an ac in the room you could crank that up to lower the ambient temp in the room, which would lower temps in the tent, but getting a fan and hood you could bring it down significantly. I ran a 400w in a 4x4 with a hood and same cfm fan kept...

    bodhi seeds

I don't think anyone in here in "butthurt" but comparing barneys to bodhi is no comparison at all, there are so many levels between the quality that you generally (always) get from barneys seeds (nowadays at least) and the quality of bodhi seeds, and saying that they are comparable in anyway is...

    4 x 4 vs 5 x 5 Grow Tent?

If you can fill the 5x5 tent I'd say it'd be worth the money for the upgrade. I run 1000w spread over two lights in a 4x4 flower tent usually do about 6 plants depending and it works well. Of course I would always rather not grow in a tent if I could help it but imo if I'm going to be forced to...

    First attempt at recycling soil

I second that, I also remember reading about DE & silica. Good to know about it not working if you just add it in great info as always Don thanks. I'll probably skip it then and just focus elsewhere. Yea I'll be interested to hear what you go with Joe I've looked at your journal & I know we've...

    First attempt at recycling soil

Right on, I was thinking about throwing some in on my next round of amendments but didn't know much about it other than it helps with bugs. I'm just confused about figuring out what needs to be added after my first run with the soil? Definitely going to do compost and some rice husk, but stuff...

What's the most you vegged under a 400w

If you're just vegging till they show sex and not attempting to flower then you could get away with 12 1 gallons under a 400w, I wouldn't let them get much bigger than that though

Metal halide vs high pressure sodium

Yea I've never used a dual spectrum bulb myself, I just mix a 600w HPS and a 400w MH in flower. How much do you pay for those dual spec bulbs? They look really sweet I'd run one myself if I only had the one setup I'm sure they perform a lot better in flower than just HPS

Metal halide vs high pressure sodium

Dual spectrum is where it's at for flower, both MH/HPS, imo MH is better for veg and HPS for flower if you have to choose just one but just my experience. Do a run with MH flower and another run with HPS flower and see for yourself though, that's the best way to know

Should i trim fan leaves soon on my fruit spirit? Pics inside :)

I'd keep doing what you're doing dude, those ladies are looking really good. Maybe some tucking/light trimming, but nothing crazy, @GreenThumbsMcgee gave solid advice pretty much what I would do if it were me

    Buds lacking density

True, he should water a little bit more. I'd personally do 1-1.5 gal roughly every 3-4 days depending on how they looked. But also, I don't follow regimented watering schedule, I just water when I see my plants need it which sometimes is sooner sometimes later but imo is better than following...

    Salutations and first grow experiences

Yea that should be good, best of luck man hopefully you can pull a decent amount. But yea if you can just cut the whole plant down and hang it, it will let it dry even slower

    Cryotherapy

That's really the main reason why I want to do it, I just want to see if it can help with general aches and pains. My main issue for a long time has been my back, I manage it fairly well but it could always feel better so I also want to see if it can help out with that. Idk, I like to...

Fucked up......I used electric heater to quickly heat grow room.

Lol @Mount "I never want to give up", I'm the same way, actually had this happen to me awhile back with a plant that had just started flowering had to chop a section off but you live and learn & it happens when you're getting stuff dialed in

    Salutations and first grow experiences

Pick the room with the higher temps and RH. To get the slowest dry possible try to cut the whole plant and hang dry if you can, I know sometimes that isn't possible. I've dried in low RH many times you just have to check 3-4 times a day to make sure you don't overdry cause it can happen quickly

Fucked up......I used electric heater to quickly heat grow room.

Eh, I'd probably leave it alone. How far along are you in flower, like 5-6 weeks? Either way, that sucks dude sorry to see that happen she looks like a decent plant from the pic
