i tie down in late veg/early flower to help fill in empty spaces. i usually end up with about a dozen tops, and no wasted/open space. you don't have the one big cola, like you do if you don't fim/top, but you yield more, well i do, lol.

the lower your ppm when you begin, the more ppm of feed you can use. i've never needed to use cal-mag, though it seems a lot here use it like syrup on pancakes.
