Maxing out a greenhouse with a plant limit

I'm moving outdoors for the first time, where I live I can only grow 4 plants, and they can't be visible from the road so it's gotta be a greenhouse for me. Right now we're looking at a small poly tunnel because we own some plastic and that seems like the cheapest way to go. It'll be around 7'...

Taking indoor plants outdoors - transition from 18/6 light.

Sounds good. Even once my bloom closet is torn down, I can still run my veg box for a few more months. I'll just plan on getting them into the ground later. There will be 16 hours of light per day where I live around the end of May. This gives me an extra month to build my greenhouse and sort...

Taking indoor plants outdoors - transition from 18/6 light.

I'm losing my indoor growing space so now I gotta grow a year's worth of weed outdoors in one go using just 4 plants. Right now I've got rooted clones in 18/6 light. I'm trying to get them outdoors without putting them into flower. Last night I dropped to 16/8. I was going to reduce 15 minutes...

Aren't feed charts that burn the shit out of your plants just an industry standard?

    Aussie looking for 4-4-4/5-5-5 equivalent

I would take one of the complete fertilizers (or the micro bottle from a complete fertilizer) and tweak it with the phosphate/potash/microbe booster to get the ratio you're looking for. But I grow in Coco so that's how I get my micros. Soil might not care as much.

    Aussie looking for 4-4-4/5-5-5 equivalent

You stoner. There's no mixture of those three fertilizers that will yield greater than 12% nitrogen. P and K are also greater than the strongest concentration. 8.09/4.82/5.09 assuming all fertilizers have the same density.

Coco EC is hard to dial in without a lot of runoff

I think the environment's good. It's probably good. At least it's fixable. In winter I try to keep the night time temperatures from dropping below 18°C/64°F. In the summer I try to keep the daytime temperatures from getting above 29°C/84°F. Generally I dehumidify to 65%RH, but the last 4 weeks...

Coco EC is hard to dial in without a lot of runoff

Sorry, unclear writing on my part. The plants started looking healthy when I started watering until the runoff EC dropped.

Coco EC is hard to dial in without a lot of runoff

My EC is a little wonky because I'm running maybe 1/3 organics in the form of seaweed extract. My PPM (calculated from the numbers on the bottle) is 130/80/130 (and 120/60 ca/mg). I've still found it useful to measure the change in EC between nutrient and runoff, but I think the actual readout...

Coco EC is hard to dial in without a lot of runoff

Percent runoff. Most feeding guides recommend 10-20%ish. People online seem to also be around that area, maybe up to 25%. Normally I'm 30-35% at least, I think last night I was 40%. I seem to be out of step with the rest of the coco people out there.

Coco EC is hard to dial in without a lot of runoff

Right now, I'm watering at 1.5EC until my runoff is no higher than 2.0EC. My plants look happier than they ever have, but I'm wasting minimum 35% runoff with each watering. The reason I started with the heavy runoff is my veg plants have always been amazing and they always had (unintentional)...

Does a trained plant stretch about the same?

An update in case anyone finds this thread later. When I flipped the light, the length (starting at coco level, measured up, then out to the tip) was 53cm. Total length now is about 95cm on the longest branch, although 90cm or just a bit under is a bit more average. If I didn't mention...

Is root rot and reservoir stank "a thing" in coco?

Thanks for the detailed answer. I'm going to stick with DTW like you said and just work on dialing it in better. It was actually going reasonably well when I was running in smaller pots, but I got stuck with just one clone when I normally grow four. So I grew one giant plant in a giant pot...

Is root rot and reservoir stank "a thing" in coco?

When I started growing, I had dreams of running DWC. After fighting root rot for a few crops, I switched to drain-to-waste coco and it's been mostly good times since. I've got some interest in running recirculating coco so I can run smaller pots and water multiple times a day. And for other...

    Pk 9/18 vs pk 13/14

It depends on what you're trying to do with it. I use PK 13/14 to do the same PK bump 4 weeks before harvest that Canna does with their coco line. I've never done a side-by-side, I just rip off their ratios because they have a good reputation and it's been working for me. I also use it just as...

    Epsom Salts lockout

I've been running 120ppm calcium (from nutes and a touch of calmag) and 60ppm magnesium (almost none from nutes, lots of epsom salt) for the last few months and no deficiencies so far. This is in veg. I'm running the same numbers in bloom but my bloom formula is a mix of bottle nutes and...

Help! You Gotta Love It (If You Love Big Fat Hard Buds)

Yea, I've been growing in a mix of mostly seaweed extract and a GH Flora Micro knockoff. It's going great.

    Dyna Gro Foliage Pro

For the Maxibloom: I sort of clone Canna Coco's formula using a bunch of shit I have lying around. They use a 10/11 PK booster 4 weeks before harvest. You could use the maxi bloom for that, and cut the foliage pro just a little bit. Or not, I'm only doing it because Canna does it, it's not like...

    oil vs smoke

It's as potent as any cannabutter/edibles method I've tried from online. I've read a few posts that claim it upsets a lot of people's stomachs to eat it like that. Also, it can be unpalatable, especially as your tolerance goes up and you eat more. Peanut butter is the best thing I've found to...

    oil vs smoke

I'm going to start making oil, once I build a still and making some stronger alcohol, but for now I'm just eating decarbed bud. Comparing edibles to smoke is kind of tricky, because regular edibles use will create tolerance fairly quickly even if you're a regular smoker. And if you stop eating...
