best thing to do it lollypop them. Just trim all of the bottom branches at the stem. Leave the top portion of the plant alone. By removing all of that small growth from the lower half the plant will now put all energy into thetop half of the plant. thus forming better buds.

i believe you dried too fast. did you flush the plant at all before harvest? but my opinion is that it was dried to fast and theres really nothing you can do about it. better luck next time bro.
