Is black ash the end result of too many nutrients or not properly dried and cured?

It's just everytime I harvest the plant itself is still very green, no yellow leaves at all...I think im harvesting too early

So if I have no medium, there is no reason to flush? So I could run as high as 1200 ppm all the way through harvest?

The one thing I've noticed is that my colas don't have nearly as many trichomes as the lower canopy....its weird I would think that closer the light to the flower (without burning them) would cause more trichome production

Would I get dense nuggets if I put the light close without burning them?

Where does black ash come from...I thought black ash came from too many nutrients in the bud and feeding them straight water would force the plant to use any stored nutrients so the smoke would be smoother....please help me understand

So I've been using to water lately and I do want to point out that when I cloned my very first batch of 30 I had 100% success rate...the only difference is I was using my well water (575 ppm) and I used a bubbler instead of aeroponics, the more I think about I wonder if i should go back to well...

Could I go by ppm? Instead of test strips?

How much water do you dilute the pool shock....and do you use powder or liquid shock?

I've been using ro water...I have a added rapid starter and use clonex gel but maybe I need to add 1/4 strength nutes to the water as well?

I used dwc when first started cloning and had like 90 percent success and ever since I've started aeorponics I've had very bad results...like less than 50 percent success rate

Question about cloning....is it possible that water temp has alot to do with successfully growing roots....like is colder temps going to lessen the chance of roots showing?
