    Critique my curing method

OK, I'll slow down on the burping maybe. I store long term in vacuum sealed jars with both Boveda and oxygen absorbers. Years ago I was looking into long-term storage and I wound up on the prepper sites, which is where I got the idea for the oxy-absorbers.

I do have little humidor hygrometers in there and they're all at 62

    Critique my curing method

Thanks, this is very helpful. My very first crop years ago I lost about a 1/3 to mold and I've been anxious about that since. I probably dried too fast

    Critique my curing method

Definitely getting the hay smell a bit, but I thought curing was supposed to improve the scent. Anyway it's only been a week and I can already smell them turning a bit.

    Critique my curing method

They were pretty aromatic when I pulled them, and I used a microscope to check the trichomes which were all cloudy. I feel like the aroma is degrading. NL5xHaze from seed, 75 days of flower

    Critique my curing method

Hi. Looking to get the most out of my grow, and I'm finding that the scent of my crop is not as good as I'd like it. Please tell me if I'm doing anything wrong. Start by trimming off leaf and leaving the medium stems as much as possible Hang from a curtain rod in a small closet under the stairs...

Build Journal: Turning a 7'x7' Shed Into a Grow Room

Thanks. Since this my first and only indoor setup, I have nothing to compare the CXB3590s to, but I can tell you this much At the 14" spacing I have, they provide a ton of nice white light They run super cool, so much so you can put your hand right up to them. Because they run so cool, I made...

Strain or method for very fast turnaround?

Anyone still following, I got the "teen" clones and bent them under my scrog. Looking good for 10-day veg and then to flower.

Build Journal: Turning a 7'x7' Shed Into a Grow Room

First harvest this past weekend, and I turned it back around quickly by Tuesday night. We are going on a trip at the end of May, so I bought some pre-vegged "teens" from the local clone store and I'm trying that. Pics: The scrog right before I started cutting. Notice the front-left plant is all...

Build Journal: Turning a 7'x7' Shed Into a Grow Room

I'd love that, esp since the dehumidifier pumps out quite a bit of heat. But it is very tight back there in the side yard, and there's no room. I didn't even have a spot to put a mini-split AC if I had wanted to go that route (no need, the portable works great) Once we harvest next weekend, I...

Build Journal: Turning a 7'x7' Shed Into a Grow Room

Yeah, was trying to post last few weeks, but Rollitup's been having lots of issues. Was afraid it was down for good for a moment there! Anyway, just started flushing last night (Sat) on Day 67 of flower, so will likely harvest next weekend, Day 75-ish. Breeder recommend 65-75 days. From this...

Update. Baby grows up. Still super nice but I've been overwatering/feeding a bit since flower started. Outdoors, this is in very warm months, so I got used to more feeding. Cut back this week, we'll see how they react. Learning curve

Flipped to flower too late on scrog

Flipped to flower too late on scrog

I do have a heater in there and it runs occasionally, mostly when it's been dry and cold (the dehumidifier pumps out a bit of heat when it's going). Anyway, like I said, things are going absurdly well. Still waiting for the stupid mistake that ruins the crop ;)

Flipped to flower too late on scrog

Dealing with the weather is the worst. I have much sympathy for farmers This past summer was the final straw. It was overcast all through May and the first half of June, and then right before summer started, we got 3 days in a row over 100 F and then plenty of 90+ days in August/Sept. The gals...

Just a quick note on changes made since the grow started: Added filters to the irrigation We've been having an unusual amount of rain here in California. Moved the 30-pint dehumidifier back to the curing room, put a 70-pint Frigidaire in there. Had to add a second humidifier (normally for the...
