I was growing with a 200W CFL that produced 12,500 lumens but I can tell you right now that I wouldnt be seeing the growth I am now, using a 400W HPS. Its good for about 1 or 2 small-ish to medium size plants at best

Have my tent and grow going and Im looking to vent the heat into a space in between the walls instead of battling it with my A/C as it flows directly into the room. Venting out the window is NOT an option, so Im thinking of punching a hole in the drywall and venting it into that space. The air...

21 Days of flowering One plant is yellowing, so I think im going to have to mix a different batch of nutes for that one. I know a plant is suppose to yellow during flower but it seems kind of premature and the other plant is still green...Anyone have some input? I cleaned all the shitty...

No need to get disgruntled, alot of info here is good info with the amount of experimentation and experience everyone brings to the table. Its like stereotyping, while not true for most, in many situations it can be. Id rather let my water sit out and evaporate out whatever 'harmful' chemicals...

it is a good idea because the chlorine can evaporate in a day or two with minimal water evaporation and you can cover the container to prevent more water loss. The amount of water that does evaporate would raise the ppm's by a few points at most, if any.

like the guy below you said, i got the plants, check out the grow ;) it was pretty simple actually. I set the filter on my shoulder and had the straps loosened up and just tightened em up and i was done. Those straps would be easy to find at a wally world, a big 5 or something like that...

what up des! theyve grown quite a bit since your last post. dont cut the fan leaves! if they dont get enough light theyll die off on their own. even if theyre not getting full light theyll still carry out photosynthesis with what they do get. If anything start to lst the branches and open up...

gh makes some good stuff, but their ph up and down suck because they use food coloring which adds to the ppm's (the orange and blue). get some clean and clear stuff, technaflora or vitagrow are good.

try the regular GH 3 part. I know its more for hydro but it works great in soil. its easy to control what nutes your plants are getting and theyre also immediately available for the plant to use and easy instead of waiting for slow decomposing 'organic' nutes. Not to mention if you overfeed...
