Hey all,
I have 5 plants going right now in flower. 2 are 6 weeks in and are doing great. The other 3 are only 2 weeks into flowering and my super lemon haze is wilting like crazy. I have grow in soil many a times and this is my second run at DWC my first being the plants 6 weeks ahead. The only thing I can think of is that my plant experienced mild heat stress for one hour a few days ago and that messed it up, or the Doktor Doom mite spray I used on all 3 somehow had a bad effect on the Lemon haze, or maybe the plant just has nutrient lockout or some issue due to me adding PH down directly to the resevoir which I have learned can be bad in DWC. Im using 100 gallon air pumps, General Hydro Micro and bloom at 1/4tsp a gallon, and some other nutes were used during veg like root accelerator and some Biobizz grow. My plants are in 5 gallon DWC buckets, each has its own bucket with a 5 or 6 inch air stone with 100 gallon pump on each. The temps of the res are around 68-72F and the room is 72-82F. I have 400w HPS in this room cooled by a can fan. I got a really nice Hannah PH meter recently that does PH, EC, & PPM. I have one major concern, I am using powdered General Hydroponics PH up and Down and I use my PH 7.0, ppm 200 house water for the plants. When I lower the PH to 5.8ish for the plants my PPM will drastically go up after a few days of correcting PH. My meter I believe is set at a .5 TDS calibration for PPM and maxs at 2000ppm and everytime I test the PPM after a few days it maxes at 2000ppm which I believe may be the cause of my dieing Super lemon haze. The wierd thing is, the other plants do not seem affected by the high PPM tho they also have 2000ppm. Also all my roots are white, the only odd thing is the Super lemon haze after several resevoir changes still somehow raises its Res PH to 8.0 over night or after a few hours after being PH'd at 5.8. I flushed the plant for an hour in clear water with Clearex the other day and still not lookng better. The stems are strong, but the leaves are wilting like crazy and the plant feels rubbery. My other strains are Hash plant haze and Blue cheese. here are some pics any help would be greatly appreciated I dont wanna lose this Super lemon as its my last large one and my soil SL haze was nuts. Here are the pictures of the Superlemon haze on the left its the droopy one, Hash plant is behind it, blue cheese is on the right. You can see the hash plant and blue cheese look fine even tho they have crazy high PPM and fluctuating Ph's as well. I also have 2 in a grow tent that are 6 weeks ahead of these and they look amazing (last picture).
