To clarify better: I was talking about putting them in water for a few hours to keep from wilting prior to trimming, not an extended amount of time. Though I think a nice bouquet of trimmed buds around the house would be a lovely site.

I'm not an expert on the topic but it might be powdery mildew. Do some searching around here there will plenty of posts with better info on it and getting rid of it.

a 10:1 water milk spray seems to work great to stop rot as well and can be done up til harvest. Peroxide will probably work well too but I'm not sure about using it up til harvest. Good luck

So a buddy and I were talking about cutting plants and putting the stalks in water to keep them from wilting. Then I got to thinking what if you did that but with sugar water?? Since people give plants molasses to plump up buds perhaps the sugar would give them one final push?? Thoughts?

Clean your jars.... Plastic will work but it can lend its flavor to your buds, glass is best

I think glass is going to be your best bet. Plastic and wood will both lend their flavor to your bud otherwise. Depending on the type of wood that may be desirable, but most likely unless you cut the wood yourself, it has been treated with chemicals that you don't want leaching into your bud...

still looks like a lot of white hairs and not very swollen buds but again, that pic is kind of far out to really tell.

Those seeds will likely be hermie as well and might be seedier than this batch, it could be good and buddy with just a few seeds too. Crap shoot.

Those aren't "balls" it might be seeds but it could just be swollen calyx's. Give one a squeeze, see if there's something in there, it won't hurt anything

Get one of the those rubber made totes, maybe put down a small metal rack in bottom to hold the buds off ground.

And to chime in on all the above comments... Obesity can certainly be a legit sickness for people with slow thyroids and what not. However, a vast majority of it is just due to laziness.
