Does anything in nute tea become..

I see it pretty fast but I'm using a low fert strain, do a low ppm tea and an even lower ppm foliar with the tea.

Day 134 continued. Added 16 gallons, 12 with fert, 8 with Big Bloom for the four Rishis, 4 with a little Big Bloom and a little Grow for the Krystalica. This should be the last Grow on this, uh, grow. Was planning on just Big Bloom unless someone can convince me that a tea would be any more...

I'm referring to my grow conditions. While trichome production may increase, I'm thinking my area's sun is just too much. My grow is mostly under shade cloth with the edges exposed in some areas. The more exposed areas just looked a little more beat up this last week after the monsoon weather...

    Relentless freaking heat!

My girls are in full flower and it's 109 today in Tucson. No problem. In ground. I wouldn't want to be in pots.

    Average yields

You might also consider a strain that is developed to handle the heat. I'm growing in the desert and experience 110 in the shade, not to mention the sun temps. It's 109 today. Mandala Seeds will flower in 120 degrees.

    Sativas make me parinoid

There you go. I'm looking forward to smoking my plants when they are more mature and properly dried. I understand the why of the anxiety but will be glad when it's gone. I picked my strains to not instill anxiety but there are some strains that are anxiety inducers. You hear of people that don't...

Not very scientific but trichome production is predominantly in the fall. Sun exposure is shorter, the uv is less due to the sun's lower angle, and the temps are lower. All of these factors would reduce deterioration to the oils. At the same time, might it affect positive changes?

I was worried about fungus but they weren't that far along and it's dryer now. The nice thing about 100 degrees is water dries so fast. If it picks back up I'll throw some plastic over the top. I also hope the teas (foliar apps.) are helping there. I've heard about the "oils" increasing with...

Thanks all! Hacker, I hope they finish well. The Rishi Kushes will finish in the heat as they flowered earlier. The Krystalica is just starting to pop but I don't really know actual flowering times as they all semi flowered for a while. The earliest Rishi should be ready in about a month, I...

It's a big, solid, healthy plant and has been a breeze to grow. The heat doesn't bother it. It was intended as my primary plant but only produced one female out of four and four out of four Rishi Kush, so the Rishis are my main grow. Oh well, that's just the roll of the dice. I haven't smoked a...

Thanks! This is my first grow. When researching, there was very little info re. a high heat desert grow so I'm growing a bit blind. I've learned a lot and desert growing will be a lot easier next time. I kept a daily journal. It's pretty boring and tedious but I hope it helps to encourage...

Thanks, it's very difficult now to maintain. I can only access from one side that I have to squeeze through. Cables, string, and stakes all over the place.

Hi, Thought I'd show my outdoor desert grow. Sorry about the pic quality. I'm at day 131. Planter is below ground and filled with 60 cubic feet of Happy Frog and a bit of Ocean Forest, Ancient Forest, and ewc with large perlite (not in first pic) as an insulating mulch, which works very well...

    started flowering

^ That or Espoma at HD. Or Kellogg 4-6-3 at Lowe's. I saw a similar 4 lb.bag at True Value Hardware, can't remember the brand (Jobe's?) but looked fine. They are all around $12 more or less. Fox Farm's Big Bloom is about $15 or $17. Good stuff. I mix the Kellogg and Big Bloom in varying...
