Planting early dosnt mean bigger plants The ground is still to cold in most of the midwest and will stunt the plants I tried this last year Planted 3 early May and 12 late may the later ones all out preformed the early by about 2' Grow them bigger inside transplant bigger and enjoy the show

The UV protection is for the Polycarbant so the plastics dont break down If it wasnt UV protected it will yellow and get brittle , You should be good with that
