Don't use 1w diodes, go with 2w minimum but really you should get as many 3w as possible. And get lens angles of 60-90 don't go as high as 120. If you change your mind about making your own I know a great LED company I can refer you to based on completed grows here.

It seems most people think its best to leave autos alone because they have such a short life that any time spent recovering suffers the yield much more than with non autos (whos flowering period is usually longer than an autos entire life)

I don't think transplanting in flower will cause all that much harm, but you gotta realize roots don't grow as much in flower so transplanting too big too late could waste soil.

Thats what I do with my regular plants, once a tip grows up to a fan leaf I tuck the fan leaf under. I also tuck the fan leaf under smaller leaves if I can (but not so much that the fan leaf isn't still very horizontal).

With how long LED lights are supposed to last and how well even flower models will veg, I think you should just save the money (from buying 1 panel instead of 2) and buy full spectrum/flowering models and skip veg panels.
