First auto grow, is there something wrong here?

I will caution that I think medium makes a big difference. I started 7 in coco in a 4x3 and had to set up another 3x3 halfway through flower to move 3 of them to. Both tents were packed by the end. I think I would have been fine had they been in soil. I topped over half of them but otherwise I...

Should I harvest? On 9th week of flower

That looks very early to me. Are you checking trichomes on the leaves or calyx? I wouldn't even be looking at them yet though. Just my opinion.

    Top or not?

I'm just starting and I am indoor only but I will be topping in the future if they seem to be growing pretty quickly. I had a Royal Gorilla last grow that would have outgrown my tent if I didn't top it, and two LSDs and a White Widow that did outgrow it that I didn't top. That being said I...

    HELP BUD DRIED TOO FAST

Not that I would have dried in a cardboard box in a hot room, but I will say I found drying and curing to be one of the most difficult topics to find consistent advice on. I'm largely winging it and seeing what works for me, in my environment. I found it much easier to separate the wheat from...

First Grow, Is It Chop Time?

Look into dry ice hash if you can find a local supplier or if you don't mind paying for shipping. It's dead simple, quick, and there's basically no mess.

    Help LOL

That should be a photoperiod so wait until you see root growth wrapping around on the outside of the starter plug. It could take a week or a few. Just be patient.

    Harvest Question on Pistils

I'd listen to this guy about cutting nutrients to curtail the foxtailing but I'd still expect them to show new growth. They look a bit young.

    Help LOL

No, I meant a photoperiod plant versus an automatic plant. Sorry for the confusion.

    Harvest Question on Pistils

Gorilla Glue and Girl Scout Cookies, well Royal Queen Seeds versions of those two anyway. Both are notorious for foxtailing.

    Harvest Question on Pistils

Looks like foxtailing to me. If you zoom in you can see the same structure here. This is a GG/GSC cross so it's almost expected as it finishes up. I'm new but I honestly don't think any look particularly done. There are still white pistols and the others haven't darkened substantially or...

    Help LOL

I assume these are photos? If so you want to wait until you see a bit of root growth around the outside of your starter plug before sizing up. If it's an auto you want to have it in its final home relatively soon. I usually go seed plug to 3 gal pot within 7 days. Their taproots shoot for the...

    Help LOL

I'd leave them be, they don't look bad. Hard to tell but the soil looks a bit wet. I wouldn't give them any more water until it dries out well. These are only like 5-7 days old right? Probably need watered once or twice total, including the intial soaking, depending on conditions.

    Help LOL

Need clearer pictures from above but that looks like the cotyledon which do often curl down. That light does look awfully close, though I'm not sure how intense it is.

    Newish grower- looking for advice

Yup. K.I.S.S. Personally I would work on getting a consistent and stable grow space in regards to light intensity, temperature, humidity, and ventilation. After that you can really see what changes to nutrients and training can do for your yields. I tried to do topping and LST while going...

Run off ppms are super high!!!!

Don't bother with runoff if you're growing in soil. It's really only useful in hydro and soilless growing, and even then it's not vital information, just one piece of a puzzle. That being said your plants look healthy, don't sweat numbers. Just keep doing what you're doing.

RUN OFF PPM IS THIS OKAY?

I'm brand new to cannabis so it helped me confirm my suspicions when I had a slight problem. I do check it infrequently more for curiousity but I'm not even advocating that. I think it can be valuable information when you have a problem. Otherwise I believe feeding light, feeding often, and...

RUN OFF PPM IS THIS OKAY?

Holy assumptions Batman! Did you read my comment? I said runoff in coco is info, all info is valuable, followed by don't chase numbers, chase healthy plants. I quoted the person saying don't worry about runoff, your plants are healthy. We're on the same page mostly, except for you believing...

RUN OFF PPM IS THIS OKAY?

Okay? I, as a new grower, overfed and locked out calcium. Some of us do run into issues from time to time. Hopefully one day I may be as skilled a grower as you and only grow perfect plants.

RUN OFF PPM IS THIS OKAY?

Best answer. Runoff in coco is information and that is valuable, but reacting to that info too quickly is where most run into problems. Don't chase numbers, chase healthy plants.

    To far or good?

I'm new at this but they almost all look clear? Have pictures of the whole plant?
