Male or female? How do you know?

Go back to Forum and check all your topic options. There are "sticky" threads (impotant info to share) and FAQ pageswhich will help. Spend some time in the Newbie section. It has really been helpful to me

    TAI STICKS - Home Made

Picasso, you crack me up! Thanks for your posts...that's half the fun of RIU. I recall that it was a packaging/transportation thing too. So far we've made a half dozen sticks but it's slow going while we figure out technique...well, we stop alotbongsmilie

    oxycodone??

That stuff is nasty. Even Rush Limbaugh, loudmouth rightwing radical, had to go re-hab after getting addicted. If you need pain medication, get a medicinal license (if you live in a place that allows it.) Pot doesn't wreck your stomach like aspirin or your liver like ibuprofen...or turn you...

    An old newbie

Welcome to RUI. I'm a newbie too. Reeny, you said it! My husband just got his medicinal card and for all the above reasons. It absolutely beats taking oxycodon for chronic back issues. RUI is an awesome source of information, good will, and some pretty funny posts!

    TAI STICKS - Home Made

Good question. I'm thinking it was a "product packaging" thing too. It was surprising how much we wrapped around the sticks. It's so sticky we just pressed and wrapped the string...a little more than 2 eighths...length of sticks about 5 inches. I don't know if they really were dipped or...

    Is this cloning technique okay?

Right on. And it's actually the way most home gardiners propagate with cuttings. Thanks. I have to fight the urge to over think the process here

    TAI STICKS - Home Made

That's right...it was the 70's. Lots of things were easier...and harder... then. I had friends who grew in Mendocino and brought trunk loads to the Bay Area. One guy had a "55 MPH - It's the Law" bumper sticker on his car...never, ever got pulled over :peace:

    TAI STICKS - Home Made

Thanks. Good advice...I'll google...of course the best authorities are probably on RIU :eyesmoke:...if they're not too loaded

    Is this cloning technique okay?

Hi Canine, Sorry to hear they didn't make it. I tried my first cloning on NewYear's Day. They are still going but I don't know how long before the roots grow. I watched a couple of cloning videos and then had to take a leap of faith...following the least sophisticated approach. I cut a...

    TAI STICKS - Home Made

Happy New Year Fellow Growers! Do you remember Tai Sticks? We all thought they were dipped in Opium because they were sooo strong compared to what was available back in the day. Anyway...thought it would be fun to bring 'em back. 11 mature Tai females. We went thru a tropical storm...

getting fed up with organic nute schedule and nutes themselves

:leaf::leaf: Hey DBudd, FDD2BLK has a thread called "It's all Bullshit" under Outdoor Growing. Look at the pics of his plants and read the thread (quite long and mostly entertaining) to see how simply he does it. Cheers and Good Luck. Celtic Vixen

    Carcass' 1st CFL Stealth Grow

Hi Carcass, Perlite is so lightweight that the shipping costs shouldn't be too bad. I bet there's an online source. India is about half way between Australia and Europe...maybe there's a source out there for you. Celtic Vixen

Does anyone know what this is?

Thanks Budy, I think we should veg for another two weeks since we did so much topping and had a power outage for 16 hours. Really guessing at this but assume they need time to stabilize. The other consideration is there is such an obvious difference in development. Most of the Auroras didn't...

    Bubblelicious outdoor grow journal!

Hi DB, Just wondering if you were successful in your pollen capture? I pulled 5 males from my first grow (I'm on my second now) and destroyed them. Never thought to harvest the pollen. Does pollen have a "shelf life" Celtic Vixen

Does anyone know what this is?

Aloha, I'm new to growing (this is our second grow)and have 14 plants ranging from 32 days to 39 days since they sprouted. We're growing indoors under 400 watt HID but take them outside for watering and sunbathing. They aregetting 1 hour a day of darkness. The seeds were from Amsterdam and...
