    Flowering before transplanting outdoors

I did this by mere bad timing and poor planning but learned lol. 3 of my 10 plants started flowering while they were hardening off. Now its July and those 3 plants are vegging again and are also at least twice as big as the other 7 cuttings that are the same age and everything, the only...

    Thoughts on controlling botrytis

What's up y'all? So far I'm having a great season,,,,,,that is until I just noticed blackish coloring appearing on all the newer growth on 4 of my 10 plants. I am growing guerrilla style and my location is in an opening that has a ton of runoff and contains a bunch of overgrowth, multiflora...

    EZ, Cheap, Recycled DIY Cloner

    1. Get a gallon of ice cream, eat it and wash the container 2. Get a lid from a butter container or another similar lid that fits inside the ice cream container. This is to keep your jiffy pellets from becoming over saturated, but keeps the RH 95%+ 3. Get some jiffy pellets and add water to...

Is there a need to worry about the 17 year cicada?

There are yearly cicadas and there are 17 year cicadas that hatch and burrow into the ground and then emerge 17 years later to restart the cycle. These cicadas are bigger than the yearly cicadas.

Is there a need to worry about the 17 year cicada?

I'm pretty sure they stick around for a couple weeks at least. I'm just worried they might like feeding on the tender leaves of my cannabis bushes. Anybody else have any experience growing during a cicada year?

Is there a need to worry about the 17 year cicada?

What's up RIU? I have a question for some old schoolers who have first hand experience growing outdoors during a year of the "17 year" cicada infestation. Are there any precautionary measures that need to be taken or are the cicadas relatively harmless to cannabis? These fuckers didn't even...

    Overpressure Venting

I dont see why it wouldn't work. Just keep an eye on temps and your RH during flowering, botrytis is all bad.

1g per 1w??? How does that measure efficiency?

I don't know whoever started this "adopted standard measurement of efficacy" but wtf? I guess if you're talking 30 day veg 60 day flowering growth cycle then yeah, okay, I can dig. But why dont we come up with a fool proof unit of measure for efficacy? Any thoughts?

    Open Show and Tell 2015!

Man weather in OH this year went from one extreme to another!!! I fought botrytis from preflower until harvest and it claimed 5 Afghans. They were grown in 30 gal containers with slow release chem ferts. They were the biggest clone plants I've personally grown.
