    Its dark purple/black, and its happening to mine too....pretty sure its some type of mold....I just cut all of the affected tops off...we still have 2-3 weeks before flowering so it'll have plenty of recovery time....BTW I topped one and left one with the affected tops just to see which produces...

    I wouldn't recommend cutting/defoliating after you start flowering, the plant wastes it energy repairing itself instead of using the energy to produce flowers. BTW nite lockout is more common when you don't flush because excess salts buildup and throws nite levels and pH outta whack
