    Just get some potting MIX, not soil. After a couple weeks you can repot into soil if you like or just run em in the mix adding all nutes yourself. If you are using tap water it is almost a guarantee that it is at least a 7 pH, add a tsp of concentrate lemon juice to drop the pH a couple tenths...

    And as you previously stated, just lower ppm on the affected plant. I usually up the ppm on all my plants gradually until I see the burn and then dial back.
