My first grow - meet the girls

I've done LST for the other plants but Clem (Lemon auto) literally went from being only four inches tall at 6 weeks old, to the size she is now at 8 weeks ! She was so feeble and thin at 6 weeks that I figured she wasn't going to make it, so I've been letting her grow her own way for now. But...

My first grow - meet the girls

So I planted 5 seeds on 14th June... I have 4 plants from that. I planted another 2 on 6th July. Both have sprouted. Here are photos of the ladies (I name them based on their strain)... I know they are small and I'm sure I made a ton of mistakes with them, but I learnt a lot and have enjoyed...

How much for a pound near you?

My partner bought 20grams of "Cali" green last week here (Europe, not legalised) and it was €350 I hate buying here as you've no idea what you are getting, and it's rare even to be told it's Cali or whatever else...I reckon it was to justify the higher price , though it was good stuff. But in...

Cant tell if male or female. Please help!

See if you can get a few close up pictures and you'll see the sex pretty clearly in the Veg stage. My ladies popped into puberty and started to flash those fillies overnight!

    Autoflower outdoor

Autoflowers seem to have their own schedule whne grown outdoors and don't always follow the timing given by the seed seller. Keeping an eye on the trichome colour and using that as a judge on when it's time to harvest seems to be the best bet.

starting my first grow this morning, wish me luck guys :)

Great job! They are bigger than my first grows which are just entering their flowering stage now. I learnt so much from my first seeds, growing outdoors, so I'm hoping to apply it all to get a solid harvest next year!

    Bodhi Seeds

Hi there, I'm not familiar with Bodhi seeds (I'm in Europe and buying and selling seeds as 'souvenirs' is legal, but I have yet to see this range of seeds). I'm new to growing and was looking to try some Sativa dominant strains if you have any? Please message me as I'm not sure I am able to...

50 Bomb Seeds to be won at The Vault

I would LOVE to try your Zkittlez Gum Bomb seeds - they sound amazing since I've found that I much prefer the effects of Sativa strains. I'm a late comer to the green scene and where I am you don't know what you are buying - so to grow my own would be great! I planted my first seeds this year...

Low Temperature Dehydrator found that's *not* HerbsNow!

Well, to go back to my initial post, the HN one works and this one looks the same. But I've yet to try any method so I don't know.

Low Temperature Dehydrator found that's *not* HerbsNow!

I'm looking at putting together the wine fridge drier possibly. Ebay isn't super popular over here so even doing it all second hand it'll cost be the same as this dehydrator (about €200). Getting a second hand wine cooler tthatis thermoelectric rather than compressor is proving tricky but I'm...

Low Temperature Dehydrator found that's *not* HerbsNow!

That bud looks beautiful! I've only just started growing for the first time so have limited money to invest, but if I win the lottery I'd get a Kooltron for sure!

Low Temperature Dehydrator found that's *not* HerbsNow!

The cost of purchasing and running one would be prohibitive to me unfortunately. I live in a country where no homes, and only about 75% of shops, have air conditioning. It rains a LOT and while the summer gets to 20-25°C , the other seasons get cold, so houses focus on heating and insulation.

Low Temperature Dehydrator found that's *not* HerbsNow!

Agreed, I don't want to lose those terps! Which is why finding a dryer like this one which goes as low as 20°C, to mimic optimum hang drying temperature, took me so long. 99.9% of food dehydrators have 35°C as the lowest temp which is just way too hot

Low Temperature Dehydrator found that's *not* HerbsNow!

@bpk419 I hope it's okay to tag you. I'd love to get your thoughts on this, having read your posts about the HN dryer.

Low Temperature Dehydrator found that's *not* HerbsNow!

Thanks for your reply. Given that the HerbsNow dryer doesn't take away flavour, terps, or give a hay taste, what would make this one do that? I'm not trying to be confrontational at all, just trying to understand the difference between this item and the HN dryer so that I can learn what makes...

I'm new to all this but have heard great stuff about Inkbird products on the forums here. I live in Ireland and would love to try out and review items for you if it's not too far away

Low Temperature Dehydrator found that's *not* HerbsNow!

Thank you for your kind response. I'm not sure if it's best, but given that I can't hang dry and would be super afraid of mould (we have 18°C temp and 80 to 90% humidity outside at the moment), I figured it might be worth a try. I'm new to growing and I guess if it didn't work I'd learn for...

Low Temperature Dehydrator found that's *not* HerbsNow!

I live in Europe so shipping and customs fees from the US are huge for a HerbsNow dryer. As a result, I've been searching for weeks to find a dehydrator that hits that 20°C / 68°F temperature and I finally found one! I know that most folks will say to air dry and I get the reasons why... but...
