Why do you think he lost interest? What drew his interest to begin with? Nice to have your wife help you! Even if she does have interest. I couldnt tell ya what else you have. That’s a question for you.. But if growing helps you fill some of those voids then you should definitely keep at it!

Do whatever you want to do and will have most fun with. Once growing becomes a chore you probably will lose interest and results may vary.

Prolly what his son is telling him! I like soil and haven’t run DWC/ or coco but have seen plenty of my buddies run it a love it. I personally just find soil growth neat and it’s symbiotic relationship with the plant.

    Culling...Judge, Jury, and Executioner :(

Jw but sounds good. Although I would say just keep ‘em all and finish ‘em small if ya don’t have the space.

Legalization - I can grow again!

Start small and grow into your space. It’s real easy to get excited. I have been at it for a few years and honestly I have planted less each year and couldn’t imagine trying to keep up with more than 4 plants without automation

    Leaves fell off

Well everything you read online isn’t always facts. Although 500 grams for an auto is totally possible depending on genetics, environment, and the guardian. I seen it at Cornell Field Days. 2-4oz per auto is totally reasonable for an amateur as most of my autos (8 or so plants) so far have...

    Leaves fell off

Oh yea very easy to over complicate. But trying to replicate Mother Nature indoor can be very complicated  2-4oz from that plant? Or that’s what your goal is for overall yield per grow?

For me I like the tent opposed to my old Mylar diy bc it helps keep pet hair out and other random debris from making its way into the sticky flower. Also I can scrub the air with a carbon filter so my house doesn’t smell as much. Easy clean-up and doubles a place to dry after harvesting.

Getting Creative in 3rd World Countries (Cuba)

Well not much else other than gathering your own castings and being more self sustaining. If the soil biology is healthy shouldn’t that feed the plant whatever nutrients it needs whenever it needs it as long as you keep top dressing? Your plants look great so I personally wouldn’t change much...

Getting Creative in 3rd World Countries (Cuba)

I know it’s be too late for this grow (which looks good btw!) but how about starting a worm farm if you cannot locally source what you’re looking for? Your forest soil may already have all you need as long as you keep top dressing with that and ewc.

    Spots on leaves

So first off I’ll say it’s easy to over/under water when ur first figuring everything out. Weight of the pots is pretty standard. Lift a dry pot of dirt and one that is soiled for reference. Do not water until run off as u will be essentially flushing out all that good biology from your FFOF...
