It wasn't very expensive considering my old and questionable quality handheld non digital one was about 12, this was 35 and comes with a stand. It up to 1000x magnigication according to the spec, but that's a complete lie. lol It's excellent for my purposes though.

True, I wasn't trying to be a downer! Ive grown a fair bit in soil before but I'm only on my 2nd go on DWC so I'm by no means experienced, I'm still very much learning and it's certainly a learning curve! Good luck!

Yeh its expensive to set up initially, and theres a lot to learn, but if you do it right, your really set yp well then. it's soo much worth the money and set-up effort. "get sick of us newbies who post everyday "look, a new leaf". LOL. " Well yeah, no one really cares to look at ten new pics...

Tricky question... you open yourself up to inforseen variables/imbalances switching products mid grow? I'd assume 'Grow' A&B would be designed to work with 'bloom' A&B from the same product line... I guess you could compare the NPK levels, and levels of micro nutrients but it could become...

Yeah the growth can be quite supprising when conditions are right... with hydro you can really dial things in, so even if things arn't perfect 100% of the time, they can be very very good for most of the time which maked a big difference.

They are growing in a wheelie bin too, by the sounds of it...even a 400w HPS in there is goning to be a serious fire hazard, not to mention airflow and humididty is going to be a living nightmare, mate.

No real changes.. buds slowly growing, I think I have about 4 weeks to let them fatten up? Still lot's of fresh white pistils...but plenty of orange ones, maybe 6 weeks?
