    Greenleaf schedule help

This will be my second season growing with Mega Crop and I basically follow what they recommend on the bag. I use Black Gold potting soil that is 0.05-0.0-0.0 so I start feeding 2g/gallon around the second week, after transplanting to grow bags i'll bump it to 4g/gallon, then flowering to...

    2020 MASSACHUSETTS outdoor grow Thread!

I started 2 Lemon Autos and 2 Critical Purple Kush which sprouted April 12th. I have been keeping them under just a T12 shop light and bring them outside during the day when the weather is good. I feel the autos arent getting enough quality sun so I just hooked my MH light up to give them more...

    Solo cup challenge

Solo cups are great, I start all my seeds and clones in them. They are perfect for balcony growers who want to keep it stealth, also easier to take inside when theres bad weather like I have, the wind can get brutal being on the coast.

    How I Clone

I have seen some people posting about issues with clones. I use simple steps, here is how I take clones and so far I have had great success. Maybe this will give people some ideas: -Make proper drainage holes in the bottom of the container, I use solo cups poking holes with a thumb tack...

Germinating seeds after taking out of cold storage

There are many methods iv'e seen though I personally will soak the seeds in room temp water overnight then right into potting soil, or whatever your'e growing in. So far I have had great luck with all my seeds growing this way.

    Help Diagnose My Seedlings Please!

Maybe theres too much nutes from the mild solution you soaked the cubes in. I would hold off until they are bigger IMO, keep them moist but not soaked.

    Are my clones no good

I keep my clones, all seedlings actually, under T12 shop lights 24/7 until they are ready for outside.

    Are my clones no good

I have great luck taking clones and i keep it very simple. I don't use anything except I take the clones, trim down the fan leaves in half, slice the bottom of the stems at a 45 degree angle, dip stems in tap water, then place directly into potting soil in solo cups. I'll stick them under a...

    Soil preference?

I use Black Gold potting soil from my local hardware store. I like it because it is 0.05-0.00-0.00 so I usually start adding a small amount of nutes around week 2, and it's light and fluffy so it's easy to tell when the pots need watering by how heavy they feel.

    Drying

I'd get something like a cheap tent with zippered walls for air flow.

Where to buy seeds that deliver to mass

I used Seedsman, but this was last year and I have plenty left over for this grow season. Shipping took about 3 weeks, so not sure its the quickest way if you want to start asap, I already started 3 weeks ago and they are well on there way outside.

    Massachusetts Outdoor Grow 2019

Funny thing is I actually just received a catalog in the mail from Arbico Organics last week that sells different types of predatory insects and I tossed it aside thinking no need for it, now I'm closely reading up on it. I think the round green things are broad mites and I would get some lady...

    Massachusetts Outdoor Grow 2019

I'm done, found bug infestation on 1 of the 2 OG cheese plants so I'm tossing that one and harvesting the other. It's odd because it's only the one plant, the other is perfectly fine I can't find one bug on it. I kinda feel good now since I was getting tired of taking care of these things...

    Basement grow questions

I would run the filter > duct > hood > duct > fan > duct. Putting the fan before the hood may push the hot air into the tent, putting it after you create the vacuum pulling it into the duct. Are you talking about cutting into your home heating ducting and venting into it, if so I would advise...

    Massachusetts Outdoor Grow 2019

I dealt with the brutal wind by using string and wire to hold the pots down to the deck and the stems upright, the lower branches are bent sideways with buds growing downwards in areas. I'm harvesting the smaller purple kush since the trichomes are all cloudy and I'm getting annoyed dealing...

Using stones at the base of a pot

Just use a good potting soil and you shouldn't need anything else. I currently have two plants outside with the same brand potting soil, I water one with 1/2 gallon water and it drains nice and not water logged, the second has the same soil except it is been used in previous grows and it holds...

    Massachusetts Outdoor Grow 2019

My plants are coming along good, the smaller critical purple kush plants have good sized buds and cloudy trichomes, the larger OG Cheese are taking forever to swell and looking like mid-Oct harvest. Only reason the plants aren't destroyed yet is i take them inside at night and keep them inside...

Frist time grow what u think

If I'm reading correctly your plan is to grow indoors over the winter so come spring/summer you have plants to take clones from, and you want to know how many plants to grow? On my last indoor grow I took all my clones from 1 plant, I topped it and turned that into a clone then I cloned several...

    1st grow... ever

Plants look great. Are you looking at the trichomes through a magnifier, it's the only way to see. They appear white to the naked eye but it's just the light shimmering on them. My cheese plants look like yours do, they have a few weeks left before harvest.

Silver on one side of stem

I sometimes see what appears to be shedding of the outer layer of the stem, is it peeling off?
