I Bought a few last harvest, and used a combo of regular jars and grove bags... I really rate them, even if only because they are much easier to deal with over a shed load of jars.

All 3 seeds popped within about 3 days... Here we go!

I'm only growing 3 plants but I can confirm all 3 seeds have now popped! I just used the paper towel method, one poped after 24hrs but they are all growing now, respect to Dutch passion and SSSC!

I'm seriously considering doing the same thing, my carbon filter is a failry standard cannister type filter... I'll see if I can gently 'bust' the top off and see if it's viable to refill it duct tape it back up and re-use it!

Well thats the thing, I cant detect the smell very well, as I get accustomed to it! I only do 3 or 4 plants at a time, and vent into the loft above the grow room.
