Your vpd is a combination of humidity and temperature. If the vpd is too high you need to increase the humidity, if it's too low vice versa. It's just a balancing act. I have the ac infinity heater + humidifier and set them to balance out at 0.8 currently with a temp between 77-81.

If it's a lower bud it's most likely going to be larf anyways. A lot of people just don't let it grow so the plant doesn't waste it's energy on it. Nothing to worry much about.
